CaRe In Shanghai
On the morning of November 15, 2024, a meeting was held at Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited, where representatives from Ideafield and members of CaRe engaged in in-depth discussions about battery technology for electric vehicles on trains. The meeting aimed to explore innovative solutions for enhancing battery efficiency, sustainability, and overall performance in railway applications. Both parties shared their expertise, exchanged ideas, and discussed potential collaborations to drive advancements in energy storage and electrification in the transportation sector.
The delegation, including CaRe members, was warmly welcomed by Shanghai Electric, with a formal reception emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in clean energy solutions. The discussions covered key aspects such as battery lifecycle management, safety standards, and large-scale implementation of energy storage systems. The meeting not only fostered knowledge exchange but also strengthened the partnership between Ideafield, CaRe, and Shanghai Electric, paving the way for future joint initiatives in sustainable transportation technology.


From December 6-8, 2024, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, Prof. Dr. Narin Petrot, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Konrawut Khammahawong from CaRe participated in the 2024 ICMAACS in Shanghai, China. Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam delivered a plenary talk on "Optimization Algorithms for Solving Nonlinear Problems and Their Applications to Imaging Science," receiving high acclaim. The CaRe team engaged in valuable discussions with global researchers, including Prof. Gaston M. N'Guerekata—special thanks to Prof. Yang Xiao-Jun for the warm hospitality.

CaRe In ShenZhen
On November 13, 2024, the CaRe Network member team visited ACT Company and INFY Power Company in Shenzhen, China. During this visit, the team explored the production facilities of ACT Company, which specializes in manufacturing switching power supplies. They also engaged in discussions with the INFY Power team, gaining insights into their latest innovations in new energy technology, particularly in electric vehicle charging solutions, power modules, and energy storage systems. The visit provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration between the companies and the CaRe Network members.
The visit included in-depth presentations, factory tours, and outdoor site inspections, where the team observed INFY Power’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure in action. The delegation participated in meetings, sharing expertise and exploring potential partnerships for sustainable energy solutions. This visit highlighted the commitment of CaRe Network members to advancing clean energy technologies and strengthening global cooperation in the field of power and energy storage systems.
