CaRe In Tokyo

From March 18–21, 2025, CaRe members participated in Smart Energy Week 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan — one of the world’s premier exhibitions focused on renewable energy, smart grids, and advanced energy storage technologies.

During the event, the team explored groundbreaking innovations in clean energy, including hydrogen power, battery storage, and next-generation electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. They also visited booths like Infy Power’s, where they gained insights into the latest EV charging systems and fuel cell developments.

This global platform provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge with industry experts, explore collaborative research ideas, and stay ahead of emerging trends in the energy sector. CaRe continues to empower its members to drive change through innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration. 🌱🌍⚡

CaRe In Shimane

CaRe Global Network proudly joined the Sakura Science Exchange Program in Shimane, Japan, from January 25 to February 2, 2025. Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam and Prof. Dr. Narin Petrot led the delegation to Shimane University, accompanied by talented students from Thailand selected under the fully funded JST Sakura Program.

During the visit, the team engaged in academic discussions on the topic “Advancing Green Technology through Mathematical Strategic Approaches for a Decarbonized Society.” These exchanges not only highlighted innovative approaches to sustainability but also opened doors for deeper research collaborations between Shimane University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and Naresuan University.

This program reflects CaRe’s ongoing commitment to expanding international academic opportunities, nurturing young scientific talent, and fostering strong partnerships that contribute to global clean energy and environmental solutions.

From November 12 to 18, 2023, Prof. Dr. Poom Kuman and Prof. Dr. Narin Petrotat, together with undergraduate, Master's degree, and Ph.d students, participated in the Sakura Science Exchange Program 2023 at Shimane University in Matsue City, Japan. This program, supported by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), aimed to foster scientific knowledge exchange and regional collaboration among young researchers in Asia.

During the visit, held between November 12–18, 2023, the Thai delegation engaged in academic discussions with key executives from Shimane University, including Prof. Otani Hiroki (Vice President of Research and Globalization), Prof. Fumihiko Ito (Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering), and Prof. Yasunao Hattori (President of Shimane University). The activity was part of the CaRe Global Leadership Project under PMU-B, focusing on international research network development and innovation leadership.

CaRe In Kyoto

From December 9-11, 2024, CaRe researchers, including Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, Prof. Dr. Narin Petrot, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Konrawut Khammahawong, participated as invited speakers at the RIMS Workshop on Nonlinear Analysis and Convex Analysis at Kyoto University. They shared their expertise, engaged in academic discussions with leading mathematicians, and contributed to a special session honoring Professor Lai-Jiu Lin’s 77th birthday. Their participation reflects CARE’s dedication to advancing mathematical research and strengthening international collaborations in the global academic community.

CaRe In Niigata

From September 26 to 28, 2024, Niigata University proudly hosted the ICNS2024 Conference, welcoming Professor Dr. Narin Petrot and Professor Dr. Poom Kumam as esteemed members of the International Organizing Committee. Their visit marked a significant milestone in fostering academic collaboration and promoting scientific dialogue across borders. With their wealth of expertise and dedication to advancing research in natural sciences, both professors played an instrumental role in shaping the conference's success. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and informal exchanges, they inspired participants and strengthened connections among scholars from diverse institutions. Their contribution not only enriched the academic outcomes of the event but also underscored the importance of global partnerships in driving innovation and excellence in higher education.
