CaRe members engaged in a research collaboration at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), working with esteemed mathematicians on fixed point theory, functional analysis, and nonlinear analysis. This exchange fosters knowledge sharing and strengthens international research partnerships.

June 10-15, 2024 | Michigan
A visit to Wayne State University in Detroit facilitated discussions on variational analysis, optimization, and applied mathematics with Prof. Dr. Boris S. Mordukhovich. This collaboration marks a step toward advancing joint research initiatives and academic partnerships.

June 15-24, 2024 | Seattle
CaRe members were honored to meet Prof. Dr. Ralph Tyrrell Rockafellar at the University of Washington. Their discussions focused on convex analysis, optimization, and variational analysis. Additionally, an invitation was extended for Prof. Rockafellar to keynote an academic event in Thailand, inspiring the next generation of researchers.

As part of the Global Leader Project by PMU-B, lead researchers from the CaRe Network of 3-King’s Universities, Thailand, led by Prof. Dr. Surin Khomfoi, Prof. Dr. Phatiphat Thounthong, and Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, visited key institutions in Tennessee, USA, in August 2023. The delegation engaged in research collaboration and knowledge exchange with experts from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and the National Transportation Research Center (NTRC).

This international visit aimed to strengthen global research partnerships in the fields of power electronics, electric mobility, and clean energy technology. Through discussions, lab visits, and strategic meetings with leading professors and researchers, the CaRe Network advanced its mission to elevate Thai researchers to global leadership and promote innovative solutions for sustainable development.
