CaRe Global Network Continues International Activities with Industrial Sustainability Study Visit in Greece

The CaRe Global Network and its international research collaborators visited an automotive recycling and dismantling facility in Greece to explore sustainable industrial practices and environmental management systems. The study visit focused on automotive parts separation, industrial material recycling, and waste management under the Circular Economy framework, highlighting innovative approaches to resource efficiency and carbon emission reduction in the industrial sector. The activities strongly reflected the global vision of Carbon Neutrality and a Net Zero Future.
This international visit also demonstrated the important role of the CaRe Global Network in connecting Mathematics, Optimization, Sustainability, and Green Industry toward future research development and global collaboration. From end-of-life vehicles to renewed economic and environmental value, the experience showcased how technology, scientific thinking, and effective management can transform industrial waste into sustainable opportunities for society and the environment.
